Career Synopsis

Life at school was centered around swimming competitively from Sub A. Then in the later years of high school, cross country took number one spot.

A good deal of cycling was also part of the mix too. From about 2002, I started to do more and more road running, joined Harfield Harriers, and went back to trail.

Met the good people from CAPESTORM in 2005 when they supplied kit for our Red Bull Cape Town Man team, and again in our Totalsports Challenge team in 2007. Then came the Montrail/CAPESTORM team that has been awesome to be part of, just at the time when trail running was the fastest growing sport in SA.

Table Mountain Challenge 2005 - 1st male team.
Salomon Trail run, Glencairn - 2nd.
Fisherman's Trail Challenge 2006 - 3rd Senior and new record for leg1.
Palmiet trail run 2006 - 1st.
Table Mountain Challenge 2006 - 3rd male team.
Cannon Race 2006 - 1st.
Totalsports Challenge 2007 - 1st mixed pair (with Rebecca Newson).
Palmiet trail run 2007 - 2nd.
