Team CAPESTORM Complete Cyclist win 12 man competition
Team CAPESTORM Complete Cyclist win 12 man competition at the Coronation DC.Team CAPESTORM Complete Cyclist entered this years DC with one goal in mind: be the fastest team to finish with all 12 riders. This is easier said than done. It requires a well balanced team that can handle all the challenges that 202km's can throw at you.
The team was made up of the 6 CAPESTORM Complete Cyclist team members as well as 3 riders from Complete Cyclist Jhb and 3 from the Durban based Team Fego.
After coming 2nd in this category last year, the team knew what it had to do. We set out at the pace we wanted to finish at and the balance of the team meant all riders could contribute evenly and consistently.
Despite the windier conditions this year the team managed to better last years time by 6 minutes and finished in a time of 5:54.
It was a great team effort and a most memorable day out in a beautiful area of the world.
