Just four weeks to go now before we depart for Mount Aconcagua, South America's highest mountain and one of the Seven Summits. Reaching 6960m, it's not technical but it experiences high winds and temps of -25 to -30!
While I have climbed the mountain three times before, what makes this trip interesting is that it is a group of recovered drug addicts.
This 'Mountain Heights' initiative is aimed at instilling hope in the lost and encouraging people that it is never too late. The group certainly keeps me on my toes so it's bound to be a pretty crazy three weeks!
