In May 2009, Margi Biggs, walked the Camino Frances pilgrim's route in Northern Spain for the second time. Her objective was to raise awareness and funds for street children in Cape Town as well as spearheading a Camino clean-up campaign.
This ancient pilgrim's route starts in St Jean Pied de Port on the French side of the Pyrenees, runs through many villages and towns and over barren plains en route to Santiago de Compostela, 780km later. Join Margi as she describes conditions and shares her experiences.
