NEW BALANCE AND CAPESTORM TRAIL RUNNING 102 WORKSHOP

With the two Cape Town workshops for trail running workshop completely sold-out in weeks due to the popularity of the sport, New Balance and CAPESTORM are now bringing the workshop to Joburg. This workshop will be aimed at trail runners of all abilities.

The workshop will be held at 19h00 on Wednesday 7 October 2009 at CAPESTORM's Bryanston Store. Speakers include adventure racing and trail runner Lisa de Speville who has just returned from the 6 day Trans Rockies trial race in the US; 112 miles and 25,000ft of climbing! She will have a tale to tell and advice for trail runners of all abilities. Joining Lisa will be Ryan Hodierne from the High Performance Centre in Pretoria. Ryan is a trail runner, Xterra competitor and triathlete. His 'day job' is to evaluate athletes biomechanics so he can advise on the techniques of trail running and how your body reacts differently to the trail.
Registration for the workshop kicks off at 18h00. Attendees stand to win excellent prizes from sponsors New Balance, CAPESTORM and the SSISA in the lucky draw. CAPESTORM will be offering a 10percent discount on ALL apparel on the night. The workshop fee is R20 per person and a donation will be made to a selected charity.
