Johan de Villiers balances the demands of
corporate life with outdoor adventure travel. He is
an avid 4x4 driver & mountain biker, as well as a
qualified helicopter pilot.
He has competed in the semi-finals of the Eco-
Challenge in the Kalahari, the Land Rover G4
dealer competition and the Spirit of Africa
competition. In addition to that, Johan has
reached the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro via the
notoriously difficult Umbwe route and has solo
over landed through Africa on several occasions.
His latest expedition was through the Serengeti
en-route to Uganda & Rwanda in order to track
down the elusive eastern highland mountain
gorillas.

The presentation fee is R20 per person and a donation will be made to the NSRI. Light snacks and a cash bar will be available at the start. A free wine tasting by Master winemaker, Pieter Walser, will also be a feature of the evening.
