The Sports Science Institute of South Africa, New Balance and CAPESTORM are hosting a 'Triathlon 102' workshop aimed at more experienced triathletes who want to "up their game".
Richard Murray is a double World Champion at Duathlon and is now focusing on triathlon. He is uniquely placed to talk about getting the competitive edge; renowned Sports Scientist and Runner's World Magazine contributor, Dr Ross Tucker will provide state of the art training advice and Viv Williams (Triathlon World Champ for her age-group in 2007) who will be talking about gearing up for triathlons.
Registration for the workshop kicks off at 18h30. Triathlon South Africa (TSA) will be present and the Western Province Triathlon Association (WPTA) will be doing their pre-season registration. Attendees stand a chance to win excellent prizes from sponsors New Balance, CAPESTORM, SSISA and Go Multi magazine in the lucky draw. CAPESTORM will be offering a 10 percent discount on ALL apparel on the night, plus a 5 percent discount on non-CAPESTORM apparel. Go Multi will provide a back issue for all attendees and will give away a two-year subscription worth R250.
The workshop fee is R20 per person and a donation will be made to a selected charity. Light snacks and a cash bar will be available at the start. A free wine tasting by Master winemaker, Pieter Walser, will also be a feature of the evening.
